论京津冀地区战略性新兴产业的布局

战略性新兴产业对区域经济会起到重要的调整和引导作用。京津冀地区在发展战略性新兴产业方面具备一定的基础和优势,也面临一些障碍,因此需要对产业发展布局进行整体部署,通过产业分工和集聚形成产业带,以各地现有优势为基础,进行资源整合,形成战略性新兴产业发展的巨大合力,以充分发挥战略性新兴产业区域发展中的作用。     

基于区域合作理念对环渤海文化创意产业一体化发展的建议

20世纪90年代以后,创意产业迅速崛起,成为经济发展的一种新趋势,不少国家和地区开始把文化创意产业作为重点发展产业推动其发展。全球化发展的最新趋势是区域性集中和一体化,文化创意产业是这一趋势的最突出表现。本文以环渤海经济圈作为研究对象,运用区域合作理念对环渤海文化创意产业一体化进行研究,并提出相应建议。     

Born globals: A cross-country survey on high-tech start-ups

The paper empirically investigates what drivers affect the decisions of high-tech start-ups to internationalize from the outset, and their degree of born-globalness. The empirical data have been obtained from a cross-country survey on internationalized high-tech start-ups operating in the ICT and electronics sectors. The present findings show that the presence of a small domestic market and the scalability of the product put on sale have a positive effect on the probability of a start-up internationalizing from its inception. We have also observed that the niche strategy and the network relationships built up by the entrepreneur are key drivers for both an early internationalization and the scope of international expansion. The experiential knowledge and international commitment of an entrepreneur, as well as the diversity of team competences and organizational flexibility of a firm, have a significant impact on a born global's degree of born-globalness, although it is not a fundamental precondition for early internationalization.     

The futures of offshoring FDI in high-tech sectors

This paper examines what is still a relatively new phenomenon in the literature, the outsourcing/offshoring of high-technology manufacturing and services. This has become a concern for both policy makers and academics for two reasons. Firstly, policy makers have become concerned that the offshoring of high-technology sectors in the West will follow the more labour intensive sectors, and move to lower cost locations. Secondly, international business theory has tended to view low costs, and high levels of indigenous technological development as being the two main drivers of location advantage in the attraction of FDI. We show that this may not be the case for offshored high-technology manufacturing or services.     

浙江省规模以上工业企业科技人力资源配置现状及区域比较

科技在国家竞争力中起着关键作用。科技人力资源对于企业的生存和发展至关重要。文章从数量和密度上分析了浙江省规模以上工业企业科技人力资源的发展现状,在企业科技人力资源评价体系构建的基础上,运用主成分分析方法,对浙江省11个城市规模以上工业企业的科技人力资源水平进行评价,提出了浙江省规模以上工业企业科技人力资源发展的建议。     

What happened with the grandiose plans? Strategic plans and network realities in B2B interaction

Research concerned with business relationships and organizational levels, respectively, has addressed companies' difficulties in realizing their strategies. Studies of business relationships explain this through actions and reactions among business partners. Organizational studies note gaps between strategic and operational organizational levels in perceptions and goals. This paper combines these perspectives to obtain new insights into why company strategies may not materialize. The purpose of this paper is to describe and discuss how actor bonds on various organizational levels in business relationships affect strategy realization. The paper shows that actors on similar organizational levels representing different companies may actually share more understandings and activities than actors within the same company. The paper contributes to research on dyadic business relationships by highlighting differences in perspectives on various organizational levels, adds insights into research studying organizations by including a business-relationship aspect, and increases understanding of why strategic plans sometimes fail to succeed.

Through a glass clearly: management practice on the Bowes family estates c.1700-70 as revealed by the accounts

Through the accounts, the article examines the management practices employed on the Bowes estates in order to ascertain whether they were managed as profit centres to be exploited, and whether accounting aided managerial activity at this early stage of industrial development. The majority of the estate accounts were designed to keep track of rights and obligations. The survival of cost analysis, profit statements and planning data indicates that the estates were not treated simply as units of consumption and that the accounts played an important facilitating role. There are indications that a knowledge-power mechanism also existed within the estates, casting doubt both on the mutual exclusivity of Economic-rationalist and Foucauldian explanations of accounting activities and on the notion that a relevant distinction exists between modern and pre-modern business organization.     

The relationships among corporate social responsibility,corporate image and economic performance of high-tech industries in Taiwan

The economic development of high-tech industries in Taiwan focuses on IC design, opt electrics, semiconductors, computer science and telecommunication. It is necessary for business to understand the relations and significance of the economic performance to take the responsibility and keep a positive corporate image, thus they can earn more admiration and trust from customers. How do they take the social responsibility to improve their corporate image and create the economic performance, and finally reach the top one of the whole world? This study discusses the subject concerning the continuing development of business and relevant issues stated above. We found that 68.1% of high-tech industries in Taiwan are in accordance with business ethics and norms of conduct. Businesses take their responsibility practically by participating in public welfare activities. The more responsibilities they fulfill; the better image they have. High-tech industries should target the social responsibility as their first goal and secondly improve their corporate image to increase the economic performance.
